Telecommunication: people-to-people and machine to machine

The Australian Telecommunication Networks and Applications Conference in 2006 will be held in Melbourne on 4th to 6th December. ATNAC 2006 will expand on the traditions of previous ATNAC conferences by bringing together telecommunication researchers and students with equipment providers, user groups, regulators and infrastructure planners.

Key themes are:

  • Broadband delivery and evolution
  • Wireless sensor networks research and applications

The ATNAC 2006 Organising Committee is seeking both academic and industry papers that advance research in the key themes or report on the development and implementation of these technologies in Australia and around the world.

Important Dates

  • Final version of papers due:                         20 October 2006
  • Early-bird registrations deadline:                   7 November 2006
  • Conference registrations deadline:                17 November 2006
  • ATNAC Welcome reception and registration:   3 December 2006, from 6pm in Alto Room, 25th floor

  • ATNAC 2006 Melbourne:                              4-6 December 2006, 9am Clarendon Ballroom
                                                                      Podium Level, Langham Hotel

Papers submitted to the Australian Telecommunication Networks and
Applications Conference for 2006 were peer reviewed:
(i)   in their entirety, not merely an the basis of an abstract or extract;
(ii)  before publication; and
(iii) by appropriately independent, qualified experts.
